The much-awaited film, Peddi stars Ram Charan in the lead role. The sports action drama is set to release in theaters on April 30, 2026. Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, the film is currently under production. Now, the makers of the Ram Charan starrer have released a teaser on the occasion of the actor’s 41st birthday. Producers Vriddhi Cinemas and Mythri Movie Makers have posted the teaser of the film in multiple regional languages.
Peddi’s teaser out
The Peddi teaser features Ram Charan as a Peddi wrestler. His character is seen in a rugged and rustic avatar, who takes his duties very seriously. In the teaser, Charan is seen carrying heaps of grains, showcasing his strength as a wrestler. He is then seen in the ring arena as a wrestler with a mace which is also called Hanuman Gada.

pediIt is said to revolve around a cricket tournament based on a rural backdrop. Along with Ram Charan, the cast includes Janhvi Kapoor, Shiv Rajkumar, Divyendu Sharma, Jagapathi Babu, Boman Irani and others. Earlier, the makers had introduced Janhvi Kapoor’s character Achiamma. The actress is seen portraying a bubbly and feisty character based on a village backdrop. Written and directed by Buchi Babu Sana, the film is produced by Venkat Sathish Kilaru and Ishaan Saxena under the banners of Vriddhi Cinemas, Mythri Movie Makers and IVY Entertainment.
The film has music by AR Rahman. Recently, the makers unveiled the second single titled Rai Rai Ra Ra Ra. The solid track features Charan’s energetic moves, with AR Rahman singing both the Telugu and Tamil versions.

Ram Charan was last seen in the lead role in Game Changer directed by Shankar. Next, he is expected to appear in a film tentatively titledrc17Directed by Sukumar, the blockbuster marks their reunion after Rangasthalam. The actor has been married to Upasana Konidela for over a decade. The couple was blessed with twins on January 31, 2026. They are already parents to daughter Cline Cara Konidela.
