Paul Giyamatti opened the upcoming installment of the Duton Abe Franchise. Next to the final film release, the actor recalled Maggi Smith, who portrayed the role of Violet Croly in the film.
Giamatti is set to return to the third film with original actors, including Elizabeth McGawn, Huga Bonville, Jim Carter, Laura Carmail and Mitchell Dakri. In a conversation with People’s Magazine, the actor shared that the filming for the film is not the same without the late Harry Potter Star.
In an interview with a media portal before creating his appearance in the 7th season of Black Mirror, the actor also opened his role as Herold Lewinson in the franchise’s final film.
Talking about Smith, who died in September 2024, Giamati revealed, “It was not the same without him, but it somehow loved her in her honor. He definitely still feels present through the whole thing.”
He further said, “He does not have a huge loss, but everyone was still working in his soul.” The actor continued to manifest, “Working with him was one of the best things ever so far and I really didn’t even get to do it with him.”
Giamatti made her first appearance as her character in the Christmas special episodes of The Dowton Abe series.
According to the story, Lewinson is the brothers of Kora Croi and Martha Lewinson. In a special Christmas special episode, Kora’s siblings come to Downon Abe, where the family is hosting the daily coming ball.
