Shah Rukh Khan -led 2023 film Path broke several box office records. The fourth installment in the YRF detective universe became a major commercial success, forcing the manufacturers to come up with the sequel to the action-thriller. According to a Mid-Day report, Pathan 2 will be shot in Chile next year.
Recently, filmmaker-actor Ansuman Jha met the President and the representatives of Chile, including Carolina Aradondo, Minister of Culture and Arts. During his visit to India, Chile’s President, His Majesty Gabriel Boric Font, came down to discuss with the possibilities of filmmakers who highlighted Chile’s beauty through their projects in Mumbai.
Jha, who met the representatives of Chile, told the above publication, “Yash Raj Films and Lakadbagagh 3 are having concrete conversations of Pathan 2, being shot in Chile next year.” He added, “I hope that we will help in the eyes of His Excellency in bringing the beauty of Chile in the world through our cinema.”
Last year, Pinkvilla specifically stated that SRK and Aditya Chopra would come together for the eighth installment of YRF’s espionage universe. The inner source of an industry told us, “This is a twist for YRF Spy Universe Timeline – Pathan 2 will predict Tiger vs Pathan and set up a conflict of two cinematic legends on the big screen.
