India is gearing up for the Olympics 2024 to be held in Paris this year. Recently, the Indian hockey team won a bronze medal and javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra won a silver medal in the ongoing tournament. Now, in a historic moment, debutant Aman Sehrawat won a bronze medal in men’s 57kg wrestling at the Paris Olympics. Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated Aman for his big win in the sport. Apart from him, Bollywood stars like Ranveer Singh and Kareena Kapoor extended their best wishes to the wrestling star.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated Aman Sehrawat via Twitter. PM Modi wrote that his heart is filled with “immense pride” and wrote a note for the wrestling champion, praising his “dedication” and “perseverance” towards the sport.
The Prime Minister of India tweeted, “More proud of our wrestlers! Congratulations to Aman Sehrawat for winning the Bronze Medal in the Men’s Freestyle 57kg event at the Paris Olympics. His dedication and perseverance is clearly evident. The entire nation is celebrating this remarkable achievement.”

Ranveer Singh took to Instagram to congratulate Aman Sehrawat for winning bronze medal at Olympics. In his Instagram story, Ranveer posted a picture of Aman’s winning moment from the wrestling tournament and put a tricolour sticker on it.
In his post, the Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani actor called the wrestler the “Sher of Haryana.”
Kareena Kapoor also congratulated Aman on her Instagram story. She tagged him in the post expressing her happiness and wrote, “Congratulations.”

Shahid Kapoor’s wife Mira Rajput posted a picture of Aman Sehrawat on Instagram in which he is carrying the Indian national flag on his shoulders after the win. In her Instagram story, Mira wrote, “Bringing it home.”
Actor-producer Jackky Bhagnani also congratulated Aman after his big win in the sport. Jackky wrote an emotional note for the wrestling champion in his Instagram story.

Actor Randeep Hooda, who hails from Haryana, also wrote a note for Aman Sehrawat on X. Randeep called him a “wrestler” and praised his acting by saying some Haryanvi words.

Aman Sehrawat has become India’s youngest medalist at the age of 21. He has broken the record of Indian badminton player PV Sindhu. Aman defeated Puerto Rico’s Darian Toi Cruz while winning the bronze medal on Friday. He won 13-5 against Cruz in the current Olympics.
Aman’s bronze win is India’s sixth medal at the Paris Olympics. Before him, our country has won one silver medal and four bronze medals in this edition of the tournament.
Javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra won the silver medal and four bronze medals were won by Manu Bhaker in women’s 10m air pistol shooting, Manu Bhaker and Sarabjot Singh in mixed team 10m air pistol shooting, Swapnil Kusale in men’s shooting and Team India in hockey.
