Why Paneer Roti is a must try?

Paneer bread makes a wonderful contribution to your diet. here’s why:

1. High amount of protein

Paneer roti is better than regular rotis due to its high protein content. According to the US Department of Agriculture (USDA), 50 grams of cheese contains about 9-18 grams of protein. When making this bread, you will probably use this amount or even more!

2. Soft and fluffy

Roti tastes best when it is soft and fluffy, and this Paneer Roti provides exactly that. Rest assured, it will turn out super fluffy and make you want to indulge right away!

3. Your kids will love it

Many children do not like to eat plain roti, but this will not happen with Paneer Roti. It’s both delicious and healthy, and they’ll love the taste.

4. Great for weight loss diet

Paneer roti can be enjoyed as part of a weight loss diet. Pair it with a high-fibre or high-protein vegetable or lentil for a nutritious, balanced meal.

How to make high-protein paneer roti at home Paneer Roti Recipe

Making paneer roti at home is simple and straightforward. This recipe was shared by Instagram page @fit.khurana. Here’s how you can prepare it:

  • Start by adding the grated cheese and flour to a large bowl. Knead the mixture to make a smooth dough. While kneading, add 1-2 tablespoons of flour to it. This process will take about 6-7 minutes.
  • Avoid adding water, as the cheese itself will release moisture into the dough.
  • Once the dough is ready, divide it into equal parts and roll out the rotis.
  • – Heat the pan on low-medium flame and place the rolled roti on it. Cook for a few minutes, then turn and cook the other side.
  • Apply some ghee on the roti and enjoy it with your favorite dal or vegetable.
