Tovino Thomas is all set to rock the big screen with a thrilling new action avatar in the film Pallichattambi. The first glimpse of this film directed by Jana Gana Mana fame Dijo Jose Antony has been released by the makers while confirming the release date.

The makers released the first look of the film on their official social media handles. The short animated video features Tovino in a flamboyant new look, accompanied by intense music composed by Jacques Bejoy.
Along with releasing the glimpse, the makers announced that the film will release in theaters on April 9, 2026, coinciding with the summer holidays.

The official story of Pallichattambi has not been revealed yet but it is expected to be a serious and action entertainer starring Tovino in the lead role. Kayadu Lohar plays the female co-lead role, which is one of her upcoming ventures in Malayalam cinema. Additionally, actors Vijayaraghavan, Johnny Antony, Sudhir Karamana, TG Ravi and Prashanth Alexander are also part of the action.
Directed by Dijo Jose Antony, the film is written by S. The script is written by Suresh Babu, while the cinematography is by Tijo Tomy. It is produced by Naufal, Brijeesh and CCC Brothers, while Srijit Sarang serves as editor.
Furthermore, reports suggest that Prithviraj Sukumaran has played an important cameo role in the film. However, official confirmation is still awaited from the manufacturers.
Tovino Thomas’s Workfront
Tovino Thomas was last seen in an extended cameo in Loka: Chapter 1 – Chandra. The Kalyani Priyadarshan-starrer introduced him to the franchise, in which he played a contemporary version of the folklore character Chaithan.
Looking ahead, the actor will be seen in the co-lead role in the film Athiradi, releasing on May 14, 2026. Co-starring Basil Joseph and Vineeth Sreenivasan, the film is expected to star Darshan Rajendran, Zareen Shihab and Sarvam Maya fame Rhea Shibu in the lead roles.
Directed by Arun Anirudhan, co-writer of Minnal Murali, the film’s music is composed by Vishnu Vijay of Premalu fame.
Additionally, Tovino Thomas will headline Lokah: Chapter 2 and Jr NTR is also expected to play a key role in the tentatively titled NTRNeel.
