Padam Singh of ‘Ata Laapta’ supports Rajpal Yadav: He will repay every rupee

Padma on Rajpal’s vision
in conversation with ndtvPadma described the inspirations behind it address missing and highlights the vision with which Rajpal approached the project.

Secondly, the investment that came for the film at that time kept increasing with interest. He is a very strong person mentally and has the strength to face any situation. According to Padam, the film featured actors like Om Puri, Asrani, Govind Namdev, Dara Singh and Ashutosh Rana. As he said, many of these artists joined out of goodwill and belief in the project’s vision.
Describing the difficult production process, Padam said, “Many people worked address missing. Many well-known artists were part of it. The film took about two to two and a half years to be made and there were some delays. The film was very grand and world champion Dara Singh played an important role in it. In my opinion this was one of the last films of Dara Singh ji. Rajpal tried to make a good film, but it did not succeed.
Padma defends actor’s honesty
The actor further defended Rajpal’s integrity, saying, “He is a very well-intentioned person. If given time, he has the ability to repay every single rupee to everyone and he will do so. His intentions are absolutely pure. I have known him personally since 1997, as a family member and as a guru-bhai. He has always worked for others.”
He attributed the debt crisis to financial stress and unfortunate outcomes rather than negligence.
