Plot
Padakkalam is a story of four comic-book Nard in a fictional college in Kerala. In his daily life, they come between two professors, Rainjith and Shafi, who are ready for promotion to become the head of both departments (HODs).
However, suspicious incidents occur, Shafi acts strangely, and Renjith is suspected of being behind it. Nurds finds out that the man uses an ancient power that lives within a dice game (Pakida), which is how the body is swaping.
What happens to Nurds after the discovery of truth, and whether they hold Rainjith with a red hand, set the rest of the film.
Good
Starting strong, Padakkalam is one of the most fun and comical films to come out of Malayalam cinema in recent times. Debutant Manu Swaraj, who has coemed the screenplay, easily balances elements of supernatural imagination with humor.
Despite being the first-timer, the director performs prominence as an experienced filmmaker, which has successfully mixed such rare styles in Malayalam. While the story has its plot holes, the statement makes it for it and provides an entertaining watch.
The film takes us through a simple set-up with the core cast, which makes us laugh loudly on various points. The lead actors like Suraj Venjaramudu, Sharaf You Dhin and Sandeep Pradeep are headliners who steal the show with their acting.
While such aspects are strong, Premam fame provides a fresh and fun album of Rajesh Murugson track which becomes a few extent the identity of the film. Anyone who pays attention to such details, songs will be an earworm that you can hear and enjoy.
Editing by Nidhin Raj Aroll is admirable, given the film’s runtime, it is just less than 2 hours, which makes it as best as possible.

Padakkalam is definitely an attractive clock to enjoy you in free time, but it also has flaws. While the statement is strong, an average person in the audience will question why a professor with such ancient powers limits his aspirations to become head of the department in a college.
In addition, another question that arises is the use of female characters when there is no purpose or purpose for their characters. The film is mainly focused on prominent male characters and women, often for comedic gags that could be avoided.
Similar to Aavesham or Romancham, women characters serving any purpose could be released, and the story kept simple with actors who really needed.
However, such aspects can be considered a matter of artistic integrity for writers, but from a technical point of view, cinematography required refinement.

In the film, Suraj and Sharaf You Dhin became a senior actor of the actors of the rest of the actors. Accepting that, both of them raised a lot with their characters.
Especially for anyone who is looking at the sun in comic roles, it will work back in its popular methods as a minor who still loves and catchs the indifferent.
Apart from him, Sandeep Pradeep has a strong appearance, displaying skills that can make him the next big thing in Malayalam cinema. In addition, actors like Safi and Arun Pradeep offer some memorable moments among others, among others who are famous for their social media appearance.
