Sandeep Pradeep, Suraj Venjaramudu, Sharafudh and others starring Padakkalam are doing civilized business in the box office. Debut his initial day with Rs 35 lakh, the supernatural comedy-drama posted an initial weekend of Rs 2 crore. This continued to woo the audience and added Rs 1.95 lakh to Tally, its first week in Kerala, for a gross rupee of Rs 3.95 crore.
The film added Rs 2.40 crore to Tally in its second weekend, followed by Rs 45 lakh on the second Monday and Rs 60 lakh on the second Tuesday. According to estimates, the film added Rs 50 lakh to the tally on 14 days, which in Kerala grossed Rs 7.90 crore.
It will be interesting to see how the film’s fare is in the coming days. Padakkalam will get a new competition from the next weekend as Tovino Thomas is returning to the screen with his much awaited film Narita.
