The last rites of Ozi Osbourne were held on Wednesday, 30 July in Birmingham, in which thousands of people participated. Sharon Osbourne and doubles attended children, Kelly, Jack, Amy and Luis, both public and private programs attended family, close friends and music legends.
Emotional procession draws fans on broad street
Public farewell began at 1 pm with horses carrying Black Sabbath Frontman through Broad Street. According to reports by The Independent, a local Brass band, with a procession for the funeral of Ozi Osbourne, was with Bostin Brass, and stopped at Black Sabbath Bridge and Bench sites, which has become a place of tribute since his death at 76 years of age on July 22.
Sharon Osbourne, blindly emotional, stood with his children, jacks and keli, as they placed flowers and greeted fans. The crowd gathered to honor one of the most prestigious sons of Birmingham, several messages, candles and souvenirs.
Aimee Osbourne makes a rare public appearance
Aimee Osbourne made a rare public appearance during the procession of his father’s funeral. She stood wearing a black veil and berett near her mother, Sharon and brother -in -law Kelly and Jack. Holding her hand with her sister, Amy paid tribute to her father.
Aimee, who chose not to appear in the MTV reality series The Osbornness, shared a joint statement with his family after Ozi’s death: “It is only more sad than words, it can tell that we have to tell that this morning our beloved Ozi Osborn has passed away. He was with his family and we all ask to honor this time”
After a public procession, a private funeral ceremony was held in Birmingham. The music icon, including members of the Metalica, saw the arrival. Bermingham City Council had closed Broad Street and diverted buses and trams to ensure a smooth and respectable event. The council said that it worked with the Osbourne family to plan a safe farewell.
