It’s the second day of Amazon’s annual Prime Day shopping event – ​​it’s not the end, Amazon has extended it to a 4-day event. Anyway, yesterday we took a look at the best smartphone deals, here we’ll focus on tablets, laptops, smartwatches, headphones, and other interesting gadgets.

Earlier this year, Apple refreshed the Apple iPad Air line with the new M4 chipset – but that still puts them a generation behind the iPad Pro line, which is now on M5 chips. Anyway, with their 60Hz IPS display and iPadOS’s limited multitasking, the M3 chips inside the iPad Air from last year are plenty fast. By the way, Air tablets support Stage Manager.

If you prefer Android, here’s Samsung’s Galaxy Tab lineup. It starts with the larger and smaller 2025 models, the 13.2″ and 11″ Tab S11 Ultra and Tab S11, the older Tab S10+ model (12.4″), as well as the mid-range Tab S10 FE and some low-end models. Note that only the flagship Tab S model has USB-C with video out.

If you just want something to watch Netflix or scroll through Facebook, a good screen is just what you need. The Amazon Fire Max 11” has a good quality IPS LCD and is cheaper than most Android offerings.

There are also several Kids models – unlike normal Fire tablets, these do not have ads by default (although you can pay €15 to remove ads from other tablets as well). Plus, they come with one year of Amazon Kids+, a subscription service that offers ad-free books, games, videos, and apps (including Disney, Marvel, and Lego).

If you’re using an Android phone, you can pair it with a Wear OS watch. These are quite capable, but have short battery life – if you want longer battery life and a lower price, check out the category below.

Smartwatch and Band

We’re separating these because without Wear OS, these have more limited app support. They may also lack other features like maps. On the plus side, they have practically identical health tracking features, do a fairly good job at notifications, have longer battery life and are significantly cheaper to boot.
