After the success of last year’s F27 series, Oppo is set to introduce its F29 smartphone in India on 20 March. The new device is expected to come up with several reforms, especially in durability and performance. Here everything we know about the upcoming Oppo device.
One of the standout features Oppo is a 360 degree armor body, designed to bear India’s most difficult environmental conditions. The company says that to ensure that it is more than 14 military-grade tests to meet strict durability standards. According to tests by SGS in India, to connect their ruggedness, they are certified with IP66, IP68 and IP69 ratings, making them highly resistant to dust and water.
In terms of design, the F29 series is called smooth and light, which weighs about 180 grams and just 7.55 mm thick. Under the hood, there is a large 6,000mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging technology, and Oppo has promoted 300 percent network, aimed at improving connectivity in challenging areas.
On the performance front, Leaks suggests that the phone will have a 6.7 -inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate for a smooth view. Reports suggest that the device will be operated by MediaTek Demistance 7300 SOC, so the performance is expected to be good. Additionally, it is a strong aluminum alloy frame.
As far as photography is concerned, F29 is rumored for the facility of 50-megapixel primary sensor, which has been paired with a 2-megapixel monochrome lens. On the front, users can expect a 16-megapixel selfie camera. The phone can come in two storage variants 8GB RAM with 128GB or 256GB internal storage.
According to Tipster Yogesh Brar, Oppo F29 will cost between Rs 25,000 to Rs 30,000, which will make it a competitive option in the crowded smartphone market of India.
