Openai has imposed new sanctions on its AI video generation app Sora. Now, you can decide how other people can use your face in their video.
Openai’s Sora app is making waves on social media. Users are the most obtained from Sora 2 generation models to make impressive AI videos. However, it has expressed concern over the construction of deepfec, especially without the consent of the user. Now, Openai has added new restrictions by other users to prevent any unwanted composition of themselves.
Sora’s leading Bill Pebbles shared a post on X in Openai, outlining the changes. The AI firm added cameo restrictions to the app. This will allow users to filter any unwanted term, which they do not want to speak in some subjects or videos. For example, you can mention, “Don’t put me in the video including political comments.” This will ensure that no one is able to make you a political video on the app.
Cameo feature allows others to use your appearance in video. However, there is an option to close the cameo completely, the new restriction is favorable for those who want to stay in the cameo but with more control.
The Internet is filled with material where users are seen in AI video that are against their political ideas. Peibles said that Openai will work on the next crack on unwanted generations. He said, “We are continuing the hillcilimb on making the restrictions even stronger, and we will add new ways to you to stay under your cameo control in the future.”
Openai app brings more changes in Sora as the tops chart
Sora has another update watermark. Bill Peelas said Openi Sora was going to make watermark “clear and more visible”. This would allow users to quickly identify that the clip was generated by AI.
Openai was also increasing the model safety by adjusting the Sora stack, insisting that it would help avoid the flaws exploited by some users. Finally, Openai has decided an issue that has forced users to remove their chatgpt account, removing their sora.
Sora tops the chart in Apple’s App Store in America. The app is available only in the US and Canada for now. Openai has not yet revealed a possible timeline for a global release.
