The Chinese phone maker is targeting the Turbo series at users who want the best performance at an affordable price. Now, OnePlus has teased that both the phones will have larger batteries along with slim camera modules.

According to OnePlus, the Turbo 6 and Turbo 6V will feature a large 9,000mAh silicon carbon battery, which will be the largest battery ever on any OnePlus phone. On top of that, you can expect up to 80W fast charging support.

Over the past few years, camera modules on smartphones have become larger, protruding beyond the frame of the device. This usually causes the device to wobble when placed on a flat surface. Now, OnePlus is addressing this concern with the Turbo series. According to the company, the Turbo 6 will have an ultra-slim camera bump, measuring just 1.7 mm. The OnePlus Turbo 6V is also likely to have a similarly slim camera island.
The Turbo 6 and Turbo 6V share several design cues, including flat frames with slight curves at the edges. However both the phones may use plastic frame and backplate to save cost.

The Turbo series will focus on performance. The OnePlus Turbo 6 is expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8S Gen 4 processor, while the Turbo 6V will likely opt for the Snapdragon 7S Gen 4. Both models are expected to use 1.5K AMOLED displays, but the Turbo 6 has a 165Hz refresh rate compared to the Turbo 6V’s 144Hz panel.
OnePlus Turbo 6 and 6V are expected to have dual rear camera setup. Both devices will likely pack a 50-megapixel main and 8-megapixel ultrawide, paired with a 32-megapixel selfie shooter.
On the durability front, the OnePlus Turbo 6 is expected to come with IP66/IP68/IP69/IP69K rating for dust and water resistance.

The Turbo 6 and Turbo 6V will launch in China on January 8, 2026 at 7 PM local time (4:30 PM IST). Rumors suggest that OnePlus may bring two phones to India called Nord 6 and Nord CE 6.
There is very little information available regarding the pricing of the Turbo series. For reference, the OnePlus Nord 5 was launched in India for Rs 29,999.
