Caught on CCTV: Gujarat woman hit by car, legs thrown in the air
A woman was injured after being hit by a speeding car in Gandhinagar, Gujarat on July 15. In the CCTV footage of the incident, a woman named Nimishaben Nehru was seen walking on the roadside when the car hit her from behind. Karnataka BJP protests against Congress government over Valmiki ‘scam’
The BJP on Thursday staged a protest against the Karnataka government over the alleged multi-crore scam of the Valmiki board. The issue came to the fore after Karnataka Maharishi Valmiki Scheduled Tribes Development Corporation Limited (KMVSTDCL) accounts superintendent P Chandrasekaran committed suicide on May 26, citing pressure from senior officials to misappropriate funds worth Rs 87 crore. Chandrasekaran named two officials in his six-page suicide note. Former Karnataka minister and Congress MLA B Nagendra was sent to six-day ED custody after he was arrested in connection with the multi-crore scam.
