Expected specifications and features of OnePlus 15T
Tipster Digital Chat Station describes the OnePlus 15T as a “mini powerhouse” aimed at users who prefer a more pocketable phone without giving up top-tier specifications. Early leaks indicate that the phone will feature a 6.32-inch OLED display with 1.5K resolution and a high 165Hz refresh rate, which will support smoother animations and gaming experiences.
Under the hood, the handset is expected to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage, hardware typically reserved for premium segment devices.
Battery life could be another standout feature for the compact phone, with leaks suggesting a 7,500 mAh battery supported by 100W fast wired charging and wireless charging compatibility. This would give the OnePlus 15T a notable upgrade over its predecessor, which lacked wireless support.
In addition to wireless charging, the tipster has revealed that the OnePlus 15T may support MagSafe-style connectivity, allowing it to work with magnetic accessories similar to Apple’s ecosystem. The phone is also expected to come with an ultra-thin magnetic cooling accessory, which is designed to help dissipate heat during gaming or intensive tasks without hindering normal use.
As for photography, the camera setup on the 15T is partially unconfirmed, with some leaks mentioning a 200MP main sensor while others point to a 50MP primary camera paired with a 50MP telephoto lens and a 32MP selfie shooter.
While the upcoming China launch has been confirmed, there are indications that the OnePlus 15T may arrive globally under the OnePlus 15s name, following the strategy used with the previous 13T and 13s pair.
For reference, the OnePlus 13T was equipped with a 6.32-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and was powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. It has a large 6260 mAh battery, which can charge quickly with a charging speed of up to 80W. This phone had a 50MP primary camera with a 50MP telephoto rear camera and a 16MP front camera.
