One Tree Hill actor Paul Teal dies at 35 after battling cancer
Actor Paul Till, best known for his role in One Tree Hill, has died at the age of 35 after battling cancer.

Actor Paul Teal, best known for playing Josh Avery on the seventh season of The CW’s One Tree Hill, has died at the age of 35 after a battle with cancer.
Teal’s death was confirmed by his representatives at STW Talent Agency, who shared a heartfelt statement. “His extraordinary talent and kind spirit touched the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him. “The void he leaves behind will be deeply felt,” she wrote.
His fiancee Emilia Torello posted an emotional tribute to Paul on Instagram, writing, “Paul, you were my soulmate, my soon-to-be-husband, my rock and my future. You filled my lungs with laughter, my stomach… Filled with laughter.” Butterflies, and my heart lovingly brought you too soon, to the battle you fought bravely without failure.”
She wrote at the end of the note, “While a part of me died with you, I promise to fight as hard to find happiness in life as you fought to live every day. The world is lucky to have him. Paul Teal Got a moment with him.” And I am the luckiest person in this, because I got the chance to call you mine, I will love you forever.
In addition to his role on One Tree Hill, Teal’s career spanned both film and television. He appeared in Adrian Lyne’s psychological thriller Deep Water (2022), starring Ben Affleck and Ana de Armas, and had a role in the upcoming film Lily, starring Patricia Clarkson.
Teal also played notable roles in popular television series, including Good Behavior, Dynasty, The Walking Dead, Outer Banks, The Staircase, and George & Tammy.
