Once Upon a Time in Madras was released on the big screens on December 13 last year. Directed by Prasad Murugan, the film stars Bharath and Abhiram in the lead roles. Now, almost a month after its release, the film is all set to make its digital debut.

Once Upon a Time in Madras will start streaming on AHA from January 17. This was announced by the OTT platform on its social media handle. He wrote, “Anniki Ennachu Na?! Aha-la Pathu Therinjikonga. #OnceUponATimeInMadras Premiere from 17th January.”

Once Upon a Time in Madras official trailer and plot
The story of Once Upon a Time in Madras revolves around a gun that conjures a series of tragic events driven by frustration and violence. Rangaraj, a retired army officer, inadvertently shoots a boy named Sudarshan and throws the gun into the Coovum canal.
Savitri, a single mother, finds the gun and uses it to kill a loan shark named Murthy who abused her daughter Aarti. Meanwhile, Anita’s father accidentally kills Kathir, whom he believes to be his daughter’s lover, after discovering her pregnancy, only to feel guilty upon realizing that Kathir was innocent.
Raja, looking for money for a kidney transplant for his wife Rachel, kills Koushi to secure the money, but later learns that Koushi was the donor. After Rachel’s death, he hides the gun in Madhi’s bag, who uses it to kill her abusive in-laws after confronting her husband’s sexuality and her own pregnancy.
Once Upon a Time in Madras cast and crew
Bharat plays the role of Raja in Once Upon a Time in Madras, while Shaan plays the role of Kathir. Abhirami plays the role of Savitri, and Thalaivasal Vijay plays Anitha’s father. Rajaji plays the character of Jothi, who is Savitri’s friend and Pavitra Lakshmi is seen as Anita. Anjali Nair plays the role of Madhi, and PG Saravanan has been cast as Moorthy. Kaniha appears as Kausi in the film.
Meanwhile, the film is directed by Prasad Murugan and produced by Captain MP Anand.
