Shahid Kapoor and Vishal Bhardwaj’s fourth collaboration ‘O Romeo’ is all set to release on the big screens this weekend. The action romantic drama has started its advance booking today (February 10, 2026) evening, three days ahead of its release. Here’s what the early advance reports look like.
Backed by Sajid Nadiadwala, O’Romo has sold around 2700 tickets for the opening day across the top two national championships. The initial rush is still somewhat missing. This Shahid Kapoor starrer film has a few days time to be shown for some time and its pre-sales can be closed in a respectable manner.
Based on the trends and buzz of the film, ‘O’ Romeo’ is estimated to open around Rs. 4 Crore to Rs. 7 crores, with an accurate prediction of Rs. 5.50 crores. This is a good figure these days but it is not enough for such a good budget action romantic drama. Starring Trupti Dimri, Nana Patekar, Avinash Tiwari, Tamannaah Bhatia, Vikrant Massey and Farida Jalal, the film should have ideally aimed for a double digit opening, if not more.
The film is releasing along with Tu Ya Main starring Adarsh Gaurav and Shanaya Kapoor. Although Shahid Kapoor’s film will get an edge in terms of performance and collections, it will still have to prove its worth on the content front. So far, O’Romo’s promotional properties have received a positive response from viewers. Let’s see how the film turns out. If it manages to garner positive reception, the film will see an immediate increase in viewership.
