Nothing has finally launched the phone 4A series. The two devices – Phone 4A and Phone 4A Pro come with different designs and glyph interfaces. Here’s everything you need to know about Nothing’s latest smartphone.
No curtain has been lifted from the phone 4a series. Both the phones come with different designs, but with some major differences. The Phone 4a introduces the new glyph bar, while the Phone 4a Pro brings back the glyph matrix we saw on the Phone 3 last year.
The Phone 4A series comes with notable upgrades in terms of display, performance and battery. Here are all the details.

The main attraction of the phone 4a series is the color. The phone 4a Pro comes in silver, black and pink colors. While the Phone 4A comes in pink, blue, black and white colors. Both phones also get the recording light from Phone 3.
The Phone 4A Pro comes with a new metallic design instead of the transparent theme seen on other Nothing phones. However the transparent elements are still in the camera module, which is now much larger. The glyph matrix is also present here. The device gets a metal unibody. The thickness of the phone 4a is 7.95mm.
The Phone 4a comes with a transparent design, which we’ve come to expect from a nothing phone. You have also seen some metallic elements. The back part is made of glass. The pill-shaped camera module is placed higher than the one on the Phone 3A, with a glyph bar placed next to it. The device gets a flat plastic frame and its thickness is 8.55 mm.
While the Phone 4A Pro comes with an IP65 rating for dust and splash resistance, the Phone 4A comes with an IP64 rating.
Nothing Phone 4a series display and battery
Both phones have a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display. The refresh rate on the Phone 4a Pro is 144Hz while the Phone 4a has a 120Hz refresh rate. The Phone 4A Pro is claimed to have the thinnest bezels compared to a Nothing phone.
The maximum brightness of the display of Phone 4A Pro is 5,000 nits while Phone 4A gets 4,500 nits. You also get an optical in-display fingerprint scanner.
The Phone 4a and Phone 4a Pro come with a 5,400mAh battery. Both devices support 50W fast charging.
Phone 4a series performance and OS update nothing
The Nothing Phone 4A Pro comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, while the Nothing Phone 3A Pro has a 7S Gen 3. On the other hand, Qualcomm Snapdragon 7S Gen 4 processor has been used in Phone 4A.
You get UFS 3.1 storage in both phones. LPDDR5X RAM is also available in Phone 4a Pro. Both phones also get larger vapor chambers for better performance.
The Phone 4A and Phone 4A Pro run on Android 16-based Nothing OS 4.1 out of the box. AI features including Essential Space are available in both the phones. You can also create custom glyph matrix animations for Phone 4a Pro.
Both phones will get 3 years of OS updates and 6 years of security patches.
Nothing Phone 4A Series Cameras
Nothing Phone 4A and Phone 4A Pro have a triple rear camera setup. The Phone 4a Pro comes with a 50-megapixel Sony sensor, a 50-megapixel JN5 3.5x periscope telephoto, and an 8-megapixel ultrawide.
The Phone 4a gets the same telephoto and ultrawide sensors but with a 50-megapixel Samsung GN9 primary sensor. For selfie, both the phones have 32 megapixel Samsung KD1 sensor.
Nothing Phone 4A Series Price
The Phone 4a Pro is priced at Rs 39,999 for the base 8GB/128GB model. The 8GB/256GB and 12GB/256GB variants will cost you Rs 42,999 and Rs 45,999.
Nothing Phone 4a price in India starts at Rs 31,999 for the 8GB/128GB variant, the 8GB/256GB and 12GB/256GB models will cost you Rs 34,999 and Rs 37,999 respectively.
With exchange and bank offers, the Phone 4a can be purchased for as low as Rs 24,999.
Pre-orders for the Nothing Phone 4A begin today, with sales starting on March 13. Pre-orders for the Phone 4A Pro will begin on March 13, with the sale going live on March 27.

Apart from the Phone 4A series, Nothing also unveiled the Headphones A. The Nothing headphones come in vibrant colors like yellow and pink. The company has also promised that the headset is focused on delivering better bass compared to the iPhone 1.
There is nothing to say that the headphones can last up to 135 hours on a single charge. It also comes with a shortcut button to click pictures from your phone. Nothing headphones have not been launched in India yet. The headset is priced at $199 (approximately Rs 18,000) in the US.
