Just when fans were hoping from Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Pathan’ that YRF made a bold affair to create a thunderous post-cared entry in War 2. Instead, India today specially learned that the film ‘Alpha’ will introduce agents-which was played by Alia Bhatt and Sharvari Wagh-a careful-designed post-credit sequence which directly connects directly to the next YRF Spy Universe film.

A source associated with the project confirmed, “The decision not to include Shah Rukh Khan in the post-credit scene is strategic. For ‘War 2’, the attention is on what comes next-and it is ‘alpha’.”

Alia Bhatt and Sharavari, who led the first female -led spy film of Slated YRF ‘Alpha’ for release in December 2025, will be introduced in a small but powerful cameo at the end of ‘War 2’, how Marvel tisses her next chapters. YRF has also been following the same pattern since ‘Ek Tha Tiger’, ‘Pathan’ and ‘Tiger 3’.

Talking to India today, the source said, “It is small, yes, but it is stress, mystery and a sign of what these two women are able to do. It’s not just a cameo – this is a setup.”

Another source revealed that the post -credit scene was shot separately under tight security. “Cameo was shot quietly earlier this year, with a minimum crew.”

This step also helps in making initial discussion for alpha, which has been in production under high privacy. Directed by Shiva Rayel, the film takes a bold step for the Spie Universe, focusing on two female agents from a completely different background that joins the forces.

“Alpha War 2 or Pathan is ambitious-it is just more grounded and character-driven,” the source said. The source said, “It helps to bring Alia and Sharawari now. The audience is talking about Alia and Sharavari with ‘War 2’. The YRF really wants YRF before launching Alpha.”

‘War 2’, starring Hrithik Roshan and Junior NTR and directed by Ayan Mukherjee, was released on 14 August 2025. Alpha will be released in December.
