Not only Rajinikanth, Shruti Haasan to share screen space with Aamir Khan and Nagarjuna Akini in Cool

Shruti Haasan is ready to play an important role in Cool, starring Rajinikanth in the lead role. Next to the film’s release, the actress was seen in an interview with Sudhir Srinivasan, which revealed that she had the opportunity to share screen space with all the big stars.

Speaking in the interview, Shruti Haasan said, “I have combination scenes with all actors in Cool, and I am thrilled to share screen space with such a heavy star cast.”

In an old interview, she revealed how she would play the role of Satyaraj’s daughter, as her initial reports of her character opposed the initial reports of Rajinikanth being the daughter.

Moving forward, Shruti called Rajinikanth a man with a “golden heart”, and was blown on the set after seeing his positive energy. He said how the superstar’s expressions and dialogues are like a “minimum version” of dance or fight choreography as Bruce Lee’s films.

The lead role is an action thriller directed by Lokesh Kanagaraja starring Rajinikanth in the lead role. The film includes The Superstar as a deity, a former daily-laborer worker, with a terrible past that has been living in shadow for 30+ years.

However, when his friends, Rajsekar is in trouble, he goes out to take revenge on everyone to detect the secrets of a bio-chemical weapon. Actioner has stars like Nagarjuna Akkineni and Upendra Rao, in which Aamir Khan plays a cameo.

Apart from Shruti Haasan, a contingent of artists also includes Saubin Shahir, Satyaraj, Reba Monica John, Rachita Ram and many other artists in many other lead roles. The actioner is slapped to release on August 14, 2025, with a music track and background scores by Anirudh Ravichender.
