Nora Fatehi narrowly escaped being involved in a car accident in Mumbai on Saturday afternoon while on her way to perform at a concert. Later, on social media, Nora described the incident as one of the most horrifying and painful moments of her life. She revealed that due to the impact she fell inside the car, during which her head hit the window. Although she admitted to being in pain and bruised, she reassured fans that she is grateful to be alive and recovering.
Nora Fatehi shared health update
The actor said, “Hey guys, I’m just coming here to let you guys know that I’m fine. Yes, I got into a serious car accident this afternoon. A person who was driving under the influence of alcohol wrecked my car and unfortunately, the impact was quite severe and it threw me across the car. I smashed my head on the window.” Nora said, “I’m alive and well. Except for some minor bruises, swelling and a slight bruise, I’m fine. I’m grateful for that. It could have ended very badly, but I’m here to say that you should not drink and drive. I hate alcohol since the beginning.”
Nora criticized drinking and driving, saying, “Really, I’m not one who’s ever liked the idea of alcohol or drugs, anything like marijuana, that puts you in a different mental state. It’s not something I promote or even enjoy being around. You shouldn’t drink and drive. It’s 2025. I can’t believe this is even a conversation. I can’t believe it’s There’s also a scenario that would happen at 3 p.m. I would never imagine someone driving.” I’m under the influence and I’m hurting people. Having said that, I just want to let everyone know that I will be suffering from pain for some time, but, thank God I won’t lie. It was a very scary, horrible, painful moment.
Upon resuming work immediately
Hours after suffering minor injuries, the actor proceeded to perform at his scheduled stage with DJ David Guetta. Nora shared, “I don’t let anything come in the way of my work, my ambition and any opportunity I get. So, no drunk driver will get that kind of opportunity. I worked very hard to reach these milestones and moments. This may sound crazy to you, but long story short, don’t drink and drive.”
After this, the actor expressed his gratitude for the support he received and thanked all those who had come to inquire about his well being. She said, “I want to say thank you to everyone who has been reaching out to me to see if I’m okay. I really appreciate it. It means a lot to me and thank you to my fans who have been sending messages, I know everyone is so worried. But again, I have to repeat, don’t drink and drive. There have been many cases in India, in Mumbai itself, where people have killed other innocent people because they were drinking and driving. No one is to blame for this. No excuses. I’m grateful to be okay. And I’ve definitely seen my life flash before my eyes, and I wouldn’t wish that on anyone.”
