NodeJS creator warns it’s game over for humans writing code, Elon Musk says there may soon be jobs for them
Tech billionaire Elon Musk has threatened to buy European low-cost airline Ryanair after its CEO called him an idiot. Now, Musk has offered NodeJS creator Ryan Dahl a job to lead this airline after purchasing it.

Tech billionaire Elon Musk is planning his next move in the business world – the acquisition of low-cost carrier, Ryanair. Musk’s interest in the airline came after its CEO Michael O’Leary called him an idiot. And now, the CEO of Tesla has offered the creator of NodeJS a job to run this airline before he actually buys it.
Elon Musk wants NodeJS creator Ryan Dahl to run Ryanair
NodeJS creator Ryan Dahl recently claimed in a post on X that the era of humans writing code is over, and AI is probably going to be the future of software development.
Elon Musk, responding to a separate post on X asking if Ryan Dahl would be interested in running an airline, claimed that the job opportunity is set to open up soon. He wrote, “Does he have any interest in running an airline? There may be job opportunities opening up soon.”
Musk was indirectly referring to his strong interest in buying Ryanair. The tech billionaire previously said he wanted someone named Ryan to run Ryanair. And it looks like Ryan Dahl may be on the list of possible candidates.
Why does Elon Musk want to buy Ryanair?
Virgin Group co-founder Richard Branson once said, “If you want to be a millionaire, start with a billion dollars and start a new airline.” However, it seems that Elon Musk is not afraid of this challenge. In fact, the Tesla CEO is becoming more eager to buy Ryanair. But why does Musk suddenly want to buy an airline?
Elon Musk’s Starlink service has been adopted by many airlines such as Lufthansa and Qatar Airways to provide in-flight Wi-Fi to passengers. However, major European low-cost carrier Ryanair has rejected any such possibility. Airline CEO Michael O’Leary called Musk an ‘idiot’ on such an idea, and said the economics would not work for his airline.
In response to this, Elon Musk simply expressed his desire to buy the airline. And this feud has escalated to such an extent that Ryanair has now launched a ‘Great Idiots’ sale targeted at Musk. While Tesla’s CEO claims Michael O’Leary is an “unmanageable, special needs chimpanzee”.
