The series of Netflix anyone wants it to become a big success, viewed 56.8 million times in its debut season. The second season of the Smash-Hit Romantic Comedy starring by Kristen Bell and Adam Body was announced, shortly the after which the enthusiasm among fans increased.
Jackie Tohan, who plays Esther Roklov in the series, spoke directly, teasing the much awaited Sofomore season. Although he was not sure about the official release date, Tohan suggested that the second season fall could premiere in 2025.
“I think the schedule for the show … I don’t know this, so I hope I am not doing something that is wrong,” she said, stating that the release date has not been finalized. Tohan revealed that the first season was shot in the spring of 2024 and early summer before the first season was broadcast in the fall.
“I think the plan is again,” he teased. The Sofomore season began production on March 3, 2025, and is expected to end by 10 May. Given the filming schedule, the release date of October 2025 seems realistic at this point.
The series investigates the love story between Noah (Body), a charismatic rabbi, and Joan (Bell), a relationship Podcaster. Unlike their upbringing, despite lifestyle and values, both are ready for each other.
Joan, who has always dated Kasanova or unknowingly men, suddenly finds himself in a healthy relationship and does not know how to navigate it. Meanwhile, Noah should balance the expectations of his conservative family with his unconventional new girlfriend.
At her top, Joan openly discussed love, relationships and sexual pleasure on her podcast. The official synopsis reads: “An unknowable sex podcaster and a new single rabbi fall in love, it is known whether their relationship can escape their wildly different lives and mediated families.”
None of the season one wants it to stream on Netflix.
