Actress Huma Qureshi on Saturday ‘hard-launched’ rumored boyfriend Rachit Singh with a heartfelt Instagram post. He shared photos of them and wrote in detail about their journey, patience and years of work behind the scenes. In her note, Huma said that the most commendable thing about Rachit was that he spent years helping other actors shine while quietly waiting for his moment.

The post also had a witty reply from Rachit, who thanked Huma for “hard-launching” him and standing by him even on days when he struggled to believe in himself.

Their exchange comes after months of speculation about their relationship, with the two often seen together at public events, and amid reports linking them to an engagement and possible wedding plans.

In her note, Huma wrote that when she met Rachit for the first time, not only his talent but also “his patience and his calm composure” stood out. He described him as “a small-town boy from Banaras” who came to Mumbai with the same dreams that many others came with, but stayed there even though success did not come quickly. “He stayed. He worked. He learned. He grew,” the actor wrote.

He further added that for more than a decade, Rachit had helped other actors “find their truth”. According to Huma, she trained, mentored and coached artistes who later became stars, while she continued to work in rehearsal rooms, workshops and behind the camera. “And that’s what I admire most,” she wrote.

Huma concluded the note by saying that Rachit never stopped believing that his turn would come, and that his rise was based on “No shortcuts. No entitlements. Just hard work, persistence and belief in his art”. Welcoming him, he wrote, “This is not an overnight success story,” adding, “Now the stage is yours, Sidhu.”

Responding in the comment, Rachit wrote, “Thank you Huami for launching me through hard work. Hahaha.” She said the post made her realize how long he had been with her and thanked her for being her “truest supporter”.

He said that he noticed things that most people would forget and that he had an “incredible way of putting them into words”. Referring to their bond and working together, he wrote, “And to the Salim siblings, there is only one thing left to say: We will always die together.”
