No public events: Rajamouli issues strict guidelines for Globetrotter event
Ace director SS Rajamouli urged fans to strictly follow the safety guidelines issued by the police for the upcoming ‘Globetrotter’ event on November 15. The grand ceremony will be held at Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad.

‘RRR’ director SS Rajamouli, along with his star cast Mahesh Babu, Priyanka Chopra and Prithviraj Sukumaran, has been actively promoting the teaser launch event of his upcoming film, tentatively titled ‘SSMB 29’. The mega event titled ‘Globetrotter’ is expected to host around fifty thousand guests, due to which the police department will have to issue strict guidelines for the attendees.
SS Rajamouli shared these guidelines with fans in a video posted on
In the video, speaking in Telugu, Rajamouli said, “I know you all are eagerly waiting for our ‘Globetrotter’ event. Your cooperation is extremely important to run the event smoothly. Keeping in mind the craze around it and everyone’s safety, the police department has issued strict instructions to follow.”
Talking about the guidelines, he said, “First of all, this is not an open event. Only people with physical passes will be allowed to attend. I have seen some videos claiming that this is an open event – don’t believe them. Physical passes are mandatory, and only people with access should come.”

He further said, “On the 15th, the main gate of Ramoji Film City on Vijayawada Highway will be closed. Those coming from Vijayawada should take a left just before the main gate, towards Anajpur, which leads to the back gate where the event is being held.”
“Similarly, people coming from LB Nagar and Vanasthalipuram will have to cross ORR exit 11, take a U-turn, and use the service road via Sanghinagar. People coming from Gachibowli can take exit 12 and follow the same route via Sanghinagar,” Rajamouli explained.
He also said, “Each pass has a QR code that provides clear directions and video guidance to the entrances. Downloading them will be helpful. Signboards along the way will guide you to the parking area. We all have a friend who says they know a shortcut – please don’t listen to them. Follow the directions to easily and safely reach the parking area.”
Rajamouli further added, “Entries will open at 2 pm. Reaching early will help you get better parking and seating arrangements. The police have not allowed people below 18 years of age and senior citizens to attend the event. Please stay home and watch the Globetrotters event live on JioHotstar.”
He concluded, “The police will be very strict this time considering the recent incidents. The Commissioner personally told me that if there is an unexpected situation and control is lost, the event will be cancelled. This is all for everyone’s safety, so let’s cooperate fully. Thank you and see you all on the 15th.”
This comes after the tragic stampede that took place during the premiere of Allu Arjun’s ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ on December 4, in which a 35-year-old woman named Revathi lost her life and her nine-year-old son was seriously injured. Since then, film programs featuring top stars have been closely monitored to ensure the safety of audiences.
As the ‘Globetrotter’ event approaches, the hype has intensified. The makers have confirmed that over 50,000 people will attend, and the first-look teaser will be unveiled on a massive 130 ft x 100 ft screen – the largest ever used to screen a film in India.
