Lisa Kudrow and Ray Romano have been cast to play the leads in the upcoming thriller series on Netflix. The streaming platform released the first look of No Good Deed, where the duo is spying on their open house guests through the camera.
As the teaser progresses, the events become darker and more dangerous, making the audience laugh. The series will be a set of eight episodes and has been praised by Dead to Me creator Liz Feldman.
According to the show’s logline, ,When Lydia (Lisa Kudrow) and Paul (Ray Romano) decide to move from their empty nest to build a new life, they move into their gorgeous 1920s Spanish-style villa located in one of the most desirable neighborhoods in Los Angeles. Let’s make the list – and the real property craze begins.
It further reads, “Many families are rushing to buy what they believe to be their dream home, believing that it will fix all their various problems. But as Lydia and Paul know well, sometimes your dream home can be a true nightmare.
The synopsis also suggests that for Paul and Lydia to uncover the secrets, they realize the only way to do so is to confront them.
Talking about the trailer, it opens with the guests arriving at a mansion worth lakhs and starting to walk around the house and sign their names on the entry form.

In addition to Kudrow and Romano, the No Good Deed cast also includes Linda Cardellini, Luke Wilson, Abbi Jacobson, Poppy Liu, Denis Leary, OT Fagbenle, and Teyonah Parris. Meanwhile, cameos also include Matt Rogers, Kate Moennig, Chloe East, Rory Scovell, Wyatt Aubrey, Kevin Alves, and Linda Lavin.
As for the show’s writers, they include Feldman, Maddie Dhaliwal and Cara DiPaolo, Crystal Jenkins, Kelly Hutchinson, Cara DiPaolo, Bruce Eric Kaplan, Zora Bikangga; And Kelly Hutchinson.
As for producers, Feldman has joined Silver Tree. Other executive producers who came onboard include Christy Smith, Jessica Elbaum and Will Ferrell.
All episodes of No Good Deed Season 1 will stream on Netflix from December 12th.
