Nizarkudai is a Tamil family drama, hitting a big screen on 9 May 2025. Directed by Shiva Arumugam, the film received mixed reactions, but fans appreciated the performance of prominent actors including Devyani. Now, within a month of its release, the film is set to make its digital debut.

Official trailer and Nizarkudai’s plot
Nijarkudai follows the story of Lanki and Niranjan, a young interfaith pair, which aims to settle in the US. Her daughter, blue, suffers from a medical condition that causes recovery if she cries a lot. Due to their busy schedule, the couple often leaves blue with carers.
After facing issues with the first carer, they appoint Jyoti, a Sri Lankan refugee, a Sri Lankan refugee living in an old age house. Jyoti quickly creates a strong emotional bond with blue and becomes her primary carer. While parents focus on their career and visa processing, Jyoti provides constant assistance and affection to the child.
When the blue disappears, the story takes a dark turn. An investigation begins under the leadership of Inspector Illvasu. Many suspects are presented. Eventually, it is revealed who kidnaps the girl and what was the purpose behind it.
Cast and Crew of Nizarkudai
Nizarakudai is produced by Jothishiva and is directed by Shiva Arumugam, who also wrote the story. The film consists of a talented actors including Devayani, Vijjith, Kanmani Manoharan, Raj Kapoor, Vadivukkarasi, Illvarsu and Neelima Rani.
Himeshbala has written the dialogues, while the music is composed by Naren Balakumar. Cinematography has not been controlled by anyone other than RB Gurudev with editing by Rolex. Vijay Anand acts as an art director, and philosophy plays the role of creative creator.
