Actor Nimrat Kaur revealed how industry notion about going abroad impressed his career opportunities. She discusses her priority for quality roles and interest in search of new styles such as horror and action.
Can people’s perceptions cause dent in your career? Actor Nimrat Kaur recently spoke to India today, how the perception of her choice of industry and the notion that she went to Los Angeles, there was less opportunities in her way.
The actor, which is currently based on the success of his web series ‘Kulla’, also discussed the current status of the film industry. She shared that more than films that do not work well at the box office, which really worries her, she is not able to work as many times as she wants.
“I see that there are a lot of competent and capable actors around me, who have not been employed. But someone needs to run the house, rent to pay, the families have to keep, and the bills need to be cleaned. But don’t walk, therefore, nothing is good, there is a secondary concern for me, “Nimrat Kaur said.
During his career, the actor has preferred quality than quantity. Asked if his career options had inspired the industry to see him differently, Nimrat said, “I take responsibility for this. I always think they knew that I was here, but many people believed that I was in LA (Los Angeles), that I was there. Still feel grateful and lucky.
On a final note, the actor shared styles in which she wants to work, starts with scary. “I would really like to do something like this, or even a horror comedy. I would like to do a romantic comedy, or much of what I have already done. I want to try action, and something suited to the test case, which is very close to my heart.”
