The Tamil film Nilavuku N Mail Annadi Cobam (Nek), written and directed by Dhanush, has almost terminated its dramatic run at the box office worldwide. The film could not affect the audience much and failed to get traction posts over the weekends. As a result, the romantic comedy is ready to wrap on a disappointing note.

On 21 February, Pradeep Ranganathan released with Dragon, Neelvuku An Mail Annadi Cobam began to crawl only on his early weekends. The film collected more than Rs 7.50 crore in 12 days of its dramatic run. And now, in just 15 days of release, the Kollywood is growing at the box office for a gross of Rs 7.75 crore.
Due to Dhanush’s Wonderbar films, General Z romantic comedy was also low outside its domestic markets. The final worldwide gross collection of Neelvuku An Mail Annadi Cobam (NeeK) is expected to be in the range of only Rs 9.75 crore to only Rs 10 crore.
With such a poor trend, the film flopped at the box office. However, it did not face any loss because it was done on a very controlled budget. For bin calling, the film includes a contingent of actors of fresh actors: Pavish, Matthew Thomas, Ankha Surendran, Priya Prakash Warrier, R. Sarathkumar, Venkatesh Menon, Rabia Khatoon, and Ramya Ranganathan.
It will be interesting to see how it performs when released on digital and satellite platforms.
