July 18 marked the arrival of three Hindi films at the box office, Siara, Nikita Roy and Tanvi the Great. Although it was a great start for Mohit Suri’s latest Helmer, the other two releases could not impress the audience. Both Nikita Roy and Tanvi: The Great has emerged dramatic failures with poor box office collections.
Nikita Roy collected 80 lakh rupees in four days
Starring by Kush Sinha, Nikita Roy made a dull start at the box office. Starring Sonakshi Sinha, the supernatural thriller earned Rs 15 lakh on her early day. Apart from this, the specialty of Paresh Rawal and Arjun Rampal, the film collected a pure business of Rs 20 lakh and Rs 35 lakh on 2 and day 3 respectively.
On day 4, Nikita Roy did only 1 million pure business. The film’s cum collection is 80 lakh rupees at the box office.
Tanvi The Great Fats Rs 1.25 crore in four days
Tanvi The Great, starring Anupam Kher, opened a net business of Rs 25 lakh on Friday. Starring Kher and Shuhani Dutt, the film collected Rs 40 lakh on Saturday and Rs 50 lakh on Sunday.
Tanvi The Great earned Rs 10 lakh on the first Monday, causing his cum collection to Rs 1.25 crore in four days.
Monday’s booking Nikita Roy and Tanvi are not looking good for The Great. Both films have lost screen and shows to Ahaan Pandey and Anit Padda’s Sera with their poor businesses.
