At a press conference held after the film’s premiere, Kidman discusses erotic thriller and its subject matter“It’s obviously about sex, it’s about desire, it’s about your inner thoughts, it’s about secrets, it’s about marriage, it’s about truth, power, consent,” he said.

according to DiversityKidman added, “It’s a woman’s story and I hope it’s a very liberating story. It’s told from a woman’s perspective – Helena Reijn wrote it, and she directed it – and that’s what made it so unique to me, because suddenly, I was going to be in a woman’s hands with this material. It felt very dear to our shared instincts and very liberating.”

‘Babygirl’ is an erotic thriller that revolves around a high-ranking CEO (Nicole Kidman) who indulges in a passionate affair with a much younger intern (Harris Dickinson), which puts her career and family at risk. Apart from Nicole and Harris, the film stars Antonio Banderas, Sophie Wilde and Esther McGregor in lead roles.
