Nice to see some nonsense: Actor Lakshmi Manchu defended ‘Mind-Sunning’ The Royals
Laxmi Manchu came forward in support of Ishaan Khat-Bhumi Pednekar’s show ‘The Royals’. He praised Ishan’s look and Bhumi’s wardrobe in the series.

Telugu actor Lakshmi Manchu has survived the Netflix show ‘The Royals’, which is facing a lot of backlash online. Characteristics of Ishan Khat and Bhumi Pednekar in the lead roles, the series received mixed reviews from the audience. While a part of the audience has accepted glitz and glamor in the series, another section criticized the portrayal of royal families in romantic-comedy-drama.
Manchu appreciated the series and used the word ‘Mind-Sooning’. In a recent interview with India time, He said, “Everyone who is trapping ‘The Royals’, saying that it is not a Netflix kind of show and other things … I want to say one thing to them. Ihan seemed really hot, and was wearing a brilliant clothes. It was a mind-listened show, and I needed it.”
She further said, “I didn’t care about a deep, meaningful performance. I have seen Bhumi doing so in the past. I know she can distribute, and she is a great actor. But, here, she is having fun, wearing beautiful clothes and giving us royal treatment of India.”
The actor concluded, “Are you all tired of seeing how slow we are to see? Although beautiful is a ‘Patal Lok’, I am a dye-hard fan of ‘Petal Lok’, but it is not grand and comes with happiness …. Therefore, it’s not good to see some ambiguity and bliss and just a bit nonsense?”
‘The Royals’ is directed by Priyanka Ghosh and written by Neha Veena Sharma. This Rangita is created by Pritish Nandi and Ishita Prisk Nandi. The show is produced by Prisch Nanday Communications. Apart from Ishaan and Bhumi, ‘The Royals’ includes Sakshi Tanwar, Zeenat Aman, Vihan Samat, Nora Fatehi, Nora Fatehi, Dino Moriya, Milind Soman, Chunky Pandey, Luke Key, Shweta Salve and others.
Ghosh addressed Ishan-Bhumi’s chemistry criticism in a conversation with India today, saying, “If it doesn’t work for some people, I will try better next time. But there are people who enjoyed the show and their chemistry absolutely. It is crazy about how polarized the response has been.”
