Ranveer Singh starrer Dhurandhar: The Revenge (or Dhurandhar 2) is set to have one of the biggest box office openings for a Bollywood film. After the hugely successful performance of its part 1, Dhurandhar, released in December 2025, fans are excited for the sequel, which is proving to be a tough game for other films releasing in the same period. Another film to join the postponement squad is the upcoming English-language science fiction adventure film, Project Hail Mary, which will now release in India on March 26 instead of its planned worldwide premiere on March 20.
Project Hail Mary moving ahead to avoid clash with Dhurandhar 2
The distributors of Hollywood film project Hail Mary in India shared their decision to advance the release by a week to March 6. “An update from Earth… before we head into space! We want this journey to be truly out of this world. Project Hail Mary will be out on March 26 in IMAX and in theaters in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu,” Sony Pictures India wrote on its social media handle. With a poster of the film.
Earlier, Peddi had shifted its release date to April and Nani’s The Paradise to August. However, the most surprising update came when Yash starrer Toxic decided to release in June instead of the same date of March 19, 2026, citing Bay Area issues for the change in its plans.
About Project Hail Mary
