Burma Burma is celebrating its 10th anniversary with a fabulous new menu called ‘The 10-Year Trail’. We got a chance to preview it at a restaurant in Mumbai and spent an afternoon there in delicious discovery. The menu pays homage to the ingredients and culinary traditions of different regions of Burma, highlighting the diversity of flavours of Burmese cuisine. We started our meal with a soul-soothing corn and mushroom soup called Sarbuthi, followed by a serving of vibrant salads. The tangy and spicy Siman Thok had chickpea tofu and raw papaya, while the Steamed Rice Tofu Salad was enhanced with coriander, onion oil, crisp garlic and more. Among the main dishes, choose Kho Poong with Monk Meal or Paebok Chet

Burma Burma is known for its wide selection of teas and non-alcoholic beverages, including several specialty drinks. From the anniversary menu, we highly recommend the Kan Lan Yay (sugarcane juice, raspberry puree, lemon, nori salt) and the Durian Float (durian fruit with a mixture of durian banana milk, black grass jelly and nata de coco). We were impressed with all the great dishes we tasted during our meal. Check out this special menu while you can.
