New documentary to explore singer Chris Brown’s alleged history of abuse
A new documentary on acclaimed singer-songwriter Chris Brown has been announced, which will explore the artist’s alleged history of abuse. Brown has previously been accused of assaulting former partner and pop star Rihanna.
A new documentary on singer-songwriter Chris Brown, Chris Brown: A History of Violence, has been announced, which is said to explore Brown’s alleged history of abuse.
Chris Brown has had several chart-topping singles over the years, but apart from the success, what has held him back are his legal issues. Brown’s legal issues date back to 2009 when he was first accused and arrested of assaulting his former partner and singer Rihanna. Brown pleaded guilty to aggravated assault.

“Chris Brown is an amazing and talented musician, but let’s call one thing a thing. He is an exploiter of women. In the trailer released, a woman can be heard saying this continuously, unapologetically.
Finally, an anonymous survivor of alleged abuse by Brown is also seen coming forward to tell her side of the story.
The documentary will arrive on iD on October 27.
