Neeraj Chopra wins Olympic silver: From Vicky Kaushal to Madhavan, celebs pour in their best wishes
India’s Neeraj Chopra won the silver medal in the final of the men’s javelin throw event at the Paris Olympics 2024. Vicky Kaushal, R Madhavan and many other celebrities congratulated the champion.
India’s Neeraj Chopra won the silver medal at the Paris Olympics 2024 on August 8. Soon after his historic win, Vicky Kaushal, R Madhavan, Rakul Preet and many other celebrities extended their best wishes to the champion. Neeraj lost the gold medal to Pakistan’s Arshad Nadeem, who created history with his new record – 92.97m throw. This is Neeraj’s second medal at the Olympics.
Vicky Kaushal was among the few celebrities who congratulated Neeraj. He shared a photo of him holding the national flag. He wrote, “Best performance of the season. You always make us proud brother!!! @neeraj_chopra (sic).”
R Madhavan congratulated Pakistan’s Arshad Nadeem and Neeraj Chopra by sharing a screenshot of the scorecard. He wrote, “What a great match, congratulations on the Olympic record @arshadnadeem29 and the silver medal @neeraj_chopra guys, sport won today.. (sic).”
Rakul Preet Singh is extremely happy to see Neeraj win a silver medal for India. She wrote, “Wow! Neeraj, you did it again! Congratulations on winning your second Olympic medal! India is beaming with pride!”

Neeraj Chopra made only one legal attempt in the game and still managed to win the silver medal. He is receiving congratulations from all sides.
