Jr NTR and director Koratala Siva last graced the big screen with Deora: Part 1. While many fans were expecting the filmmaker to collaborate with the RRR star again, it now appears that Siva will next direct the Nandamuri Balakrishna starrer, tentatively titled NBK112.
NBK112: Not Jr NTR’s Devara: Part 2, but director Koratala Siva’s next to star Nandamuri Balakrishnan in the lead role
In a new update shared by the makers, it has been confirmed that Koratala will collaborate with Siva Nandamuri Balakrishna For temporary title NBK112. Although further details about the project have not been revealed yet, the team wrote, “The stars are aligned. A festival awaits.”

Earlier, Koratala Siva directed Devara: Part 1, in which he starred jr ntr. The film is based on Devara, a powerful sea warrior who protects a coastal village in the 1980s that is involved in illegal sea smuggling. Upon realizing that these activities harm the lives of innocent people, Devra turns against his comrades, including his friend Bhaira, leading to a violent feud. His mysterious disappearance leaves a complex legacy for his timid son, Vara.
Taarak plays both father and son, the film also stars Saif Ali Khan, Janhvi Kapoor, Prakash Raj, Srikanth and Shine Tom Chacko in lead roles. It is available for streaming on Netflix.
The film ends with a post-credits scene that hints at a sequel. While there were initial speculations about Devara: Part 2, it appears the director has now moved forward. However, it has not been officially confirmed whether the sequel has been shelved or not.
Nandamuri Balakrishnan’s workfront
Nandamuri Balakrishna was last seen in Akhand 2: Thandavam directed by Boyapati Srinu. It is the sequel to the fantasy supernatural film Akhand (2021). Apart from Balakrishna, the film also stars Aadhi Pinisetty, Samyuktha Menen and Harshali Malhotra in lead roles. The film received mixed to negative reviews and proved to be a box office failure.
Looking ahead, the actor is also set to collaborate with director Gopichand Malineni for another project, tentatively titled nbk111.
