Nawazuddin Siddiqui talked about working in South films.

Actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui confessed that he does not prioritise money, but he works in South Indian films because he gets paid well there. He even feels guilty about doing roles for which he is paid well. The actor was recently seen in ‘Rautu Ka Raaz’.

In a recent interview with Filmfare, he revealed that he feels he is “cheating” in his acting in these films, as he does not have full control over his characters and needs someone to explain his lines to him before filming. Despite this, he chooses to participate because of the amount he is paid.

Nawazuddin opened up about his work in South Indian cinema, including his work with Rajinikanth and Venkatesh. He said, “When I am doing a film like ‘Raman Raghav’, I control my emotions, my thoughts, my soul. When I do South films, I am not so confident. But since I am getting paid so well, I agree to do it. I feel guilty. I have given you so much money but I don’t understand what you are doing (They are paying me such a good salary but I don’t know what is happening).

He said, “The audience won’t know, but I do. It’s like doing an advertisement. I don’t have any feelings for the product, I can only see how much money I am being paid for it.”

In the same conversation, Nawazuddin stressed that his motivation for becoming an actor was not financial gain but his passion for the art.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s recent appearance was in the ZEE5 film ‘Rautu Ka Raaz’. His films in South Indian cinema include films such as ‘Sandhav’ with Venkatesh and ‘Petta’ with Rajinikanth.
