Amid the excitement of the release of ‘Alien: Romulus’, industry veterans Ridley Scott and Tom Moran have shared their praise for the film’s director Fede Alvarez. The latest instalment of the iconic ‘Alien’ franchise is set to release in India on August 23, 2024.

Ridley Scott, the visionary director behind the original ‘Alien’ (1979), praised Alvarez’s all-encompassing filmmaking style. “Fede is a unique filmmaker,” said Scott. “He does everything himself. He relies on the crew for his vision, obviously. But he’s an all-around great guy.” Scott’s endorsement of Alvarez is particularly significant given his deep connection to the franchise.

‘Alien: Romulus’ is poised to be one of the most talked about films of the year, and with the praise that both Scott and Moran have received, expectations are high.

The film, which will release in India on August 23, stars Cailee Spaeny, David Johnson, Archie Renaux, Isabella Merced, Spike Fearon and Aileen Wu.
