Naga Chaitanya moves court against viral post claiming he cheated on Samantha
Delhi High Court issues notice on Naga Chaitanya’s plea on alleged defamatory content regarding his past relationship with Samantha Ruth Prabhu. His lawyer said that this material amounts to trolling. Protection of his personality rights was also demanded in the case.

The Delhi High Court issued notice on a petition filed by actor Naga Chaitanya over defamatory content and false stories about his relationship with Samantha Ruth Prabhu. The petition also seeks protection of her personality rights against the use of her image and video.
According to the actor’s lawyer, advocate Vaibhav Gaggar, a bench of Justice Jyoti Singh on May 29 issued an interim injunction against the use of Chaitanya’s name and images and also issued notices to websites that hosted the allegations related to his relationship with Samantha Ruth Prabhu. The court order was not available till the time of writing. The lawyer said that the bench had directed that it would issue an interim order.

During the hearing, Gaggar told the court that some online content had falsely portrayed the actor as cheating on Samantha and claimed that he had ruined her career. “This is trolling, this is not fair criticism,” the lawyer told the court.
Samantha and Naga Chaitanya’s relationship
