Singers Sonu Nigam and Shreya Ghoshal will soon be seen on the hot seat in the quiz-based reality show Kaun Banega Crorepati 16 hosted by Amitabh Bachchan. They will join Amitabh in the upcoming Friday (September 20) episode. Sony TV has shared the promos of the special episode.

In one of the promos, Amitabh is seen enthusing the audience by singing the song ‘Pardesiya’ from the 1979 film Mr Natwarlal. In the promo, Shreya starts singing this line, “Pardesiya, this is true Piya.” Soon Sonu places the mic in front of Amitabh and continues his talk, “Everyone says that you have given your heart to me.”

The promo has already created excitement among the audience. One comment read, “Can’t wait.” Another said, “So excited for this episode.” A fan said, “Wow, can’t wait to watch this amazing KBC episode.”

In another promo, Amitabh introduces Sonu and Shreya to the audience. They also sing the song ‘Main Hoon Na’ “Whose is this to you?” Sonu has added a twist to it. Fans are not only excited about Amitabh singing but also about Sonu and Shreya adding a musical touch to KBC 16. A comment on the video read, “Shreya ma’am and Sonu ji…super excited (sic).”

Amitabh Bachchan is not only an excellent actor but has also lent his voice to songs like ‘Rang Barse’, ‘Mere Angne Mein’, ‘Ekla Chalo Re’ and ‘Atrangi Yaari’.

The episode of KBC 16 will air on September 20 at 9 pm featuring Sonu Nigam and Shreya Ghoshal. It will also live stream on Sony Liv.
