Composer Anirudh Ravichander faced severe criticism for his work on the song ‘Chuttamalle’ from Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor’s ‘Devra’. The second single was launched on August 5 with huge anticipation. The melody song was trolled and many claimed that it reminded them of the viral Sri Lankan song ‘Manike Mage Hithe’. The romantic song features the lead characters dancing in beautiful locations.

On August 5, Anirudh Ravichander shared the YouTube link of the song ‘Chuttamalle’ and its dubbed version in other languages. While many praised the composer for creating a melodious tune, some slammed him by saying that the song is similar to ‘Manike Mage Hithe’.

Earlier, the makers released the first song of the film titled ‘Fear Song’. There were talks that the song resembles the famous ‘Badass’ track from Thalapathy Vijay’s film ‘Leo’. Now, the second song is also going to have the same fate.

Written and directed by Koratala Siva, ‘Devra: Part 1’ is an action drama starring Jr NTR, Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor in the lead roles. The film will be released in two parts, with the first part hitting the screens on September 27.
