Shaktiman star Mukesh Khanna recently praised Ranveer Singh’s acting. In a video uploaded on his YouTube channel, Khanna said, "I would like to praise the hero of this film Ranveer Singh. Now you will ask me questions by saying that you have rejected him for the role of Shaktimaan. However, even if I say no to him, he is still one of the best actors. I have always maintained this stance. His infectious energy and courage is visible in the film." Khanna praised Singh, saying that his “worrying” eyes were suitable for the role of a spy from India who is exploring life in Pakistan and gradually becomes a member of a gang by gaining sympathy and rescuing the leaders’ son.

Khanna was vocal about not letting Singh play the character of his famous desi superhero Shaktimaan. He said, "If you make him Shaktiman, people may enjoy it as he makes you dance, but the role requires someone mature."

The total collection of the film is currently around Rs 492 crore and it is expected to join the Rs 500 crore nett club on the seventeenth day. Trade experts estimate that the film is on track to cross Rs 700 crore, with the potential to surpass Pushpa 2 (Hindi) to become the highest-grossing Hindi film domestically.
