Casting director Mukesh Chhabra praised Dhurandhar director Aditya Dhar’s commitment to the project. As the film released in theaters on March 19, Chhabra revealed that the director was working till Thursday morning, just before the official release.

She shared a photo with Dhar on social media and highlighted his dedication, calling it inspiring and rare. The post came after a section of fans expressed disappointment that several paid preview shows were suddenly canceled on Wednesday.

The caption of his post read, “Today at 2:30 in the morning, he was still working, giving everything until the last moment. That kind of dedication is rare, and honestly, it’s inspiring. (sic)”

In his post, Chhabra also expressed confidence in the success of the film. The casting director said that, after seeing it twice, he believed it would exceed expectations and break “every record, every expectation”. She added, “This guy is a genius. Seriously. I’m really happy, grateful and proud… proud of him, proud.”

Paid previews in regional languages ​​canceled

Paid previews were canceled in several cities, including Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Cinema halls cited technical issues and unavailability of content, especially for the Tamil and Telugu dubbed versions, as reasons for the cancellation. This caused disappointment among fans and many expressed their concerns on social media platforms.

Aditya Dhar addresses release issues

Dhar assured that most of the Hindi shows will go on as per schedule from 5 pm, while Tamil and Telugu screenings will start from 9 pm.
