Mrbeast fear AI can take it to YouTube, call it scary time for creators
Mrbeast, the most popular manufacturer on YouTube, has expressed concern over the impact of AI on YouTube as AI devices such as Sora and VEO 3 continue to generate high quality videos.
Mrbeast, the largest manufacturer of YouTube, has expressed its concerns over the rapid improvement in AI-generated video. He has warned that the growing stream of AI video can influence millions of creators who rely on stage to do a living.
Mrbeast’s real name is Jimmy Donaldson. He recently posted a tweet on X, in which the alarm bell was increased on the quality of the AI-related video. Not only Donaldson was concerned about the possible impacts on YouTube as a platform, but it can also have an impact on millions of material creators who rely as the main source of their income on YouTube.
He wrote, “When AI video is good like a normal video, I wonder what it will do for YouTube and how it will affect millions of creators to make materials for a living currently .. scary time.”
Mrbeast’s comment comes when Openai has just launched Sora 2, its next generation AI video tool. The Sora app was also released on iOS in the US, making almost accessible to make AI-borne videos for anyone. It has faced backlash from experts on the issue of copyright.
In addition, Meta has also launched a special AI-only feed in the Meta AI app for users to share the AI-generated content.
Mrbeast tried to bring AI on its website
Mrbeast may have now expressed concern over AI, but he tried to look at his benefits with AI Thumbnail tool earlier this year. Viewstats were co-installed as a platform by Mrbeast that would provide many tools to the creators for their YouTube channels.
Mrbeast launched an AI tool to create thumbnails on VIEWSTATS, giving the creators the ability to quickly create thumbnails. However, after warning by critics, they were forced to take the equipment down that it could affect the jobs of artists who work on the YouTube thumbnail. Instead, Mrbeast created a new funnel to come in contact with artists to make thumbnails for the creators.
He said in June, “Hey! VIEWSTATS AI Thanks to all your response to the thumbnail tool. We pulled it and added a funnel to the creators, who added a funnel to find the real thumbnail artists to commission.”
