The conversation started when fans noticed that the couple had unfollowed each other on Instagram, and the discussion intensified when users pointed out that Sooraj’s Instagram account had been deleted.

Adding more fuel to the speculation, fans also noticed that none of Sooraj’s pictures, including the couple’s wedding photos, are currently visible on Mouni’s Instagram profile. As of now, neither Mouni nor Sooraj has issued any official statement on the rumours.

Amidst this online discussion, a clip shared by a fan account on Instagram also drew concerned reactions in the comments section. In the video, Sooraj, who was passing through the crowd, quickly came forward to help Mouni, holding her carefully and taking her towards the car.

Mouni and Suraj’s relationship

Mouni Roy married Sooraj Nambiar on 27 January 2022 in Goa. After pre-wedding festivities including haldi and sangeet ceremonies, the couple celebrated both a traditional Malayali wedding and a Bengali wedding ceremony, followed by a post-wedding pool party.

Bengaluru-based Sooraj is a businessman and investment banker who reportedly lived in Dubai before marrying Mouni.
