Cardi B loves her fans, but she definitely doesn’t love them enough to let them name her future baby. When a fan page of the rapper reposted an ultrasound photo of her unborn baby and described the fetus as Hurricane, Cardi immediately dismissed the suggested name.
“Cardi shares ultrasound photo of baby Hurricane,” a fan page on X captioned their post, which was taken from Cardi B’s Instagram post from September. The Grammy winner responded, adding a crying face emoji and writing, “Who???”
In her IG post, which included three photos — two of her sitting on a motorcycle with her bare belly and the third of an ultrasound — she wrote, “I want to meet my little boo boo.”
For those who don’t know, Cardi is already mom to 6-year-old daughter Kulture Carey and son WayV Set, who will celebrate his third birthday on Sept. 4. She shares details about herself and the upcoming baby with her husband Offset, from whom she filed for divorce the same day she revealed her third pregnancy.
“With every ending there is a new beginning!” Cardi wrote via Instagram on August 1. Appreciating the blessing of her third child, the singer said her future baby made her realize she can have it all and never have to choose between “life, love and my passion!” The singer shared her joy for her baby to experience everything his older siblings have as well as all the challenges and triumphs they’ve helped her go through.
Despite recently filing for divorce, Cardi B and Offset are back together and in good spirits for their youngest son’s birthday party on Aug. 31. The airplane-themed celebration saw the toddler enjoy the day with his parents and siblings, including Offset’s children from previous relationships: Jordan, 14, Cody, 9, and Kaila Marie, 9.
Both musicians shared videos and photos of WayV on their Instagram Stories. Cardi uploaded a video of WayV hitting the dance floor with his dad, while Offset showed the birthday boy balanced on his mom’s hip while the mom showed off her baby bump in a white cropped T-shirt.
Cardi B and Offset’s romance began in February 2017, when the two went on their first date at the Super Bowl. They married later that year and welcomed Kulture in July 2018. A few months later, Cardi announced that the two had split. The two soon got back together, but Cardi filed for divorce in 2020. The two reconciled again and welcomed WayV in 2022.
