Mohanlal’s starrer Thudram accused of literary theft by the filmmaker: ‘This is made by theft’

Mohanlal made an impressive line with his film Thudram at the beginning of the year. The Crime thriller performed exceptionally well at the box office and earned significant praise for several reasons. And now, once again, the film is in news, but for all wrong reasons.

Thudram faces allegations of literary theft by a filmmaker

Director Sanal Kumar Sasididh suppressed the allegations of cheating against the makers of Thudram in a detailed social media post. He revealed how the entire script of Mohanlal-Shahobana’s film was removed from his own unpublished project, Theytam.

He said that when he wrote this screenplay in 2020, the manufacturers of Thaudram have finished copying their skeletons, but missed out on copying the main subject of their work.

In his words, “I saw the film Thudram. It is made by stealing the skeleton of my screenplay, theytam, which I wrote in 2020. Its origin, however, remains safe; either there was a lack of intelligence to understand its essence, or because they used to carefully rejuvenate it in their efforts to re -write it uncontrollably.”

Filmmaker accused Mohanlal starrer of stealing a dialogue from his screenplay

This is not all. Moving forward in his social media posts, Sanal Kumar argued that Mohanlal starrer producers try to re -write an original script, missing out a significant dialogue that was still part of his script.

He revealed, “An important dialogue from my screenplay, ‘Kannal Papam Thinnal Theram’ is used despite being completely unnecessary in this film. Even expert thieves can forget themselves because of some craze, skilled in stealing without leaving a trace.
